Technical Office Manager – Nigeria

A leading International main contractor are looking for a Technical Office Manager in Nigeria.
Our Client
Ping International Recruitment are working with a hugely successful main contractor who have built a great reputation in Nigeria over the last 50 years. They work across civils, infrastructure, buildings and oil and gas sectors and are considered market leaders in the Africa region in the construction industry.
The position
The role is a Technical Office Manager role will have the following responsibility:
- Responsible for timely preparation of documents, presentations or submissions placed under his/ her responsibility
- Collects, examines and prepares all technical reports from the Region for approval by the Region South and East Management
- Implements and maintains the Region’s Quality Management Plan for the processes under his/ her responsibility
- Prepare tendering, perform reporting and controlling by using Rib-i-Two software
- Prepare time schedules and updates simultaneously as per project developments by using Ms Project and Primavera softwares
- Prepare material forecast of projects elements needed in time and issue requisitions and prepare all construction elements inventory and tracking
- Perform all DCC related works such as creating folders, files and keeping project design drawings records, tracks and update when needed
- Order reinforcement, precast elements and formwork needed and control and follow the stocks, inventories and be able to make design sketches for construction.
The ideal candidate will have:
– Experienced Engineer
– Degree qualified
– Stable employment history with main contractors
– 8-10 years experience as an engineer
– Happy to work in Nigeria for long periods of time
The salary / package
The role is paying a NET annual salary of around 100k euros NET per annum plus housing, transport, flights and insurances.
