Engineering Manager – Nigeria – Roads
Overview
A Technical Office Engineer / Manager is required in Nigeria by a leading International main contractor to work as part of a large new road project in Southern Nigeria.
Our Client
Ping International Recruitment are working with a leading main contractor who have a global reputation for construction and are one of the largest brands in the Africa marketplace. They have a large order book of projects across civils, infrastructure, oil and gas and building projects.
The Role
The position will report into the Project Manager leading the project and will be responsible for all technical matters and reports on the project. Preparing schedules and project development works, leading material forecasts as well as assisting on general engineering troubleshooting on the project. The project is a large 50km road and flyover project based in the South of Nigeria.
The Ideal Candidate
– Experience working in Africa
– Degree qualified Engineer
– Stable employment background with main contractors
– 5-10 years experience on road projects, ideally with flyovers
– Experience with MS Project, Primavera and other technical softwares
– Happy to work in Nigeria on a single status
The package
The position is paying a very strong NET salary of around 80-90k euros per annum plus housing, transport, flight allowances and 40 days leave per annum.
