Contract Manager – Rail – Southern Africa
Overview
We are actively recruiting for an experienced Contract Manager for a large rail project based in Southern Africa for a leading claims consultant.
Our Client
Our client are a large claims and contract consultant that are based in the UK but have International operations and clients. They are looking to add a Contract Manager to their team for a position in Southern Africa on a large rail project.
The role
The position will be site based in the contractors office reporting to the site project Director. The project has a 4 year cycle and construction is due to start shortly. The project is very high value and has technical construction challenges. The role will require specialist advice on claims, commercial matters and procedure throughout the project.
The ideal candidate will have
– Experience on rail projects
– Experienced Contract / Commercial Manager
– Degree qualified
– Chartered
– Experience on claims matters
– Project values in excess of $100 Million USD
– Stable career background
– Happy to work in Africa on a single or married status
The salary / package
The role will pay a NET salary of around £100k GBP plus housing, transport, 3 flights per year and circa 42 days paid leave. All insurances will be provided.
