Superintendent – Guyana – Civils

Overview

A Superintendent is required for a large main contractor to work on a civils project in Guyana, South America.

Our Client
Ping International Recruitment are working with a large main contractor, known worldwide, to source a Superintendent for a civils project involving access roads, earthworks and infrastructure works.

The Role

The position requires an experienced Superintendent with strong site management and health and safety skills. The position will be the lead a team of local operators on large bulk earthmoving and excavation ahead of laying roads as part of an infrastructure program for a large oil and gas business. The position will report to the Project Manager on site. 
The ideal candidate

– Experience as a Supervisor, Site Manager, Superintendent, Construction Manager
– Experience working overseas
– Degree qualified
– Road and civils expert
– Extremely HSE conscious work manner
– Stable employment history with main contractors
– Experience working on civils projects previously

The salary / package
The role will pay a NET daily rate of circa $250 USD per month plus housing, flights, car and other perks. The role is based on either a 60 day on 30 day off rotation or a 75 on 15 off rotation. Additionally the role will pay circa $45 a day per diem. The role will only pay staff for working days (typically a 6 day working week).
