Project Manager (Cable-Stayed Bridge) – Philippines
A leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a Cable-Stayed Bridge project in the Philippines.
The Opportunity:
This role offers the chance to work with a renowned international contractor with a strong presence in the Philippines and global infrastructure sector. Based in Manila, the selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget, while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all project phases, including construction methods, bridge works, caisson construction, and logistics.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project strategy, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams, providing input to optimize construction efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including regulatory bodies, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring maximum productivity and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, securing necessary permits and approvals.
- Act as the primary point of contact between site teams and headquarters, coordinating across departments for procurement, quality control, and technical support.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of project management experience within infrastructure and bridge construction.
- Strong background in Cable-Stayed Bridge projects, ideally over water.
- Previous experience working with leading international contractors.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, ADB, and JICA-funded projects is advantageous.
- Experience in Southeast Asia would be beneficial but is not essential.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of up to $12,000 per month, plus full package depending on experience.
